This sweet little holly Christmas tree is from a Dover
(copyright free) book. I traced it onto the background fabric
using the Light Table. The fabric was pre-washed to
remove all the sizing. I used Jacquard textile paints, let them
air dry for 24 hours and then heat set with an iron. I mixed in
a small amount of russet with the green to tone down the
green. I didn't want a bright green so this worked perfectly.
I will be quilting this little painted holly tree and making a
pillow out of it.
