This little fabric scrapbook wall hanging is of
my Mother when she was sixteen.  I printed
her picture on a commercial fabric sheet that
goes through the printer.  It was appliqué ed
to the center of the wall hanging.  Then using
the light table,  I traced the designs onto the
fabric with a Micron Pigma Pen #8.  To give it
the appearance of a scrapbook page I added
small black cloth triangles to the corners and
then added a border with buttons.  To give a
little glow to the face I smudged some pink
around the outside of the circle, using water
color wax crayons.   The project is 14" x 14".  I
quilted the border with buttons and am also
going to add some beads.
Fill in tracing lines with a black Pigma permanent pen.
It's fun to trace over your lines and watch the design
come to life.
